Community Service Requirements
To be in the CHMS Junior Beta Club, students must maintain all A's and B's and all S's in conduct on every report card. Students are invited to join in January of each year. You must receive an invitation from your homeroom teacher and pay a one-time $17 New Member fee.
After you join the CHMS Beta Club, maintaining all A's and B's and all S's in conduct keeps your membership current. You do not have to re-join every year.
The Mission of the Junior Beta Club is “to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students."-www.betaclub.org. As a Chapel Hill Middle School Beta Club member you will complete community service hours each year.
