Children’s Medical Services (CMS) is inviting youth aged 14-21 in Georgia to join their first Youth Advisory Council (YAC). The council aims to help participants develop healthcare management skills, leadership abilities, and community engagement, meeting virtually on a monthly basis from September to April. They are seeking 14 diverse members, and participants will receive a quarterly gift card for their involvement. Interested youth can apply through a provided link before the September 3rd deadline. Turner Middle School's Chorus is hosting its Annual Community Yard Sale on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come shop with us or sell all of the things you found during spring cleaning or summer organizing. Spots can be reserved for $20. In addition to the sale, there will also be a Walk-A-Thon at 9 a.m. and a concert at 1 p.m. View the flyer for more information.
