CHAPEL HILL MIDDLE SCHOOL PTSO

2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR

WHO ARE WE?

The Chapel Hill Middle School Parent-Teacher-Student-Organization (CHMS PTSO) is a supportive arm of the CHMS administration. It is comprised of parents, teachers, faculty/staff, and students working for the betterment of CHMS.

WHAT DOES THE PTSO DO?

The PTSO supports many student and teacher related activities. Our efforts are aimed at the academic enrichment and social enhancement of our students. Examples of things we do include:

  • Fundraising for connection classes
  • Teacher mini grants that aid in classroom instruction
  • Event coordination for Teacher/Staff Appreciation Luncheons and the 8th Grade Dance
  • Volunteer recruitment for Book Fairs
  • Spring Musical
  • Test proctoring

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?

You can get involved in two ways: Membership and/or Volunteering.

MEMBERSHIP

The PTSO is open to all CHMS families as well as to our faculty/staff. Membership in the PTSO is $10.00. The $10.00 membership fee provides a 1-year membership for an entire family or household. All proceeds from membership fees go directly to CHMS related activities. As a membership benefit, your student(s) will receive valuable incentives! Each student will receive coupons for:

Free Admission to one Home Football Game
Free Admission to one Home Basketball Game
Two "Eat Lunch With A Friend" Passes

VOLUNTEERING

Our volunteers are the key to making CHMS a better place for our staff and students. Volunteer as little or as much as you are able to.  We welcome any time, talent, and/or support you can provide during the school year.

HOW DO I CONTACT THE PTSO OR RECEIVE INFORMATION?

You can email the PTSO President at [email protected].
