Congratulations to Our February Students of the Month!
This month, we celebrate students who embody our trait of the month: Positive Attitude! These individuals consistently see the bright side of life, remain optimistic, and expect the best to happen. Not only do they bring a positive outlook to their own lives, but they also encourage and uplift their peers to do the same.

We've had an amazing time celebrating Black History Month! Check out these stunning African art-inspired necklaces created by Mrs. Wiggleton’s class. Each piece is a unique masterpiece, painted with creativity and cultural appreciation.

Do you see any familiar clothes in this picture? Our lost and found is overflowing and has been for several months! We have had students look through it, but this is still what is unclaimed. If your child is missing something, please come by this week to claim it before the break!

It's the last day of January, so that means our February Beanstack Challenge kicks off tomorrow! Every February we pay tribute to generations of African Americans by celebrating Black History Month. Join us this February by logging 400 minutes and creating a portrait of a notable African American who helped shape our history. Bring your portrait to be placed on display in the Media Center during Black History Month. This month it's 400 minutes, because Nothing Bundt Cake is challenging our students to read 400 minutes this month, and every month moving forward, to receive a free bundlet at their Douglasville location! We hope all of our students win one!

Our tardies keep decreasing! Thank you for ensuring your students arrive on time! December saw a significant increase in absences at Mason Creek, with a record 578 for the month, largely due to illness. We hope everyone stays healthy in January so we can reduce that number!
