Hello,
I am Michael Hopping, husband to a beautiful wife and father to an amazing son. I have been in education for my entire professional career of 22 years. I began in the South Bronx, NYC in a high needs middle school where I spent 5 years teaching PE and Business. My wife and I then moved to Atlanta in 2006 where I worked teaching PE, Social Studies, English, and Special Education, along with rounding out my tenure as an Administrative Assistant at Banneker HS for 10 years. I then moved to New Manchester HS, where I served as their Assistant Principal for the last 6 years and was fortunate to both, observe and lead their growth academically, socially and behaviorally. I am extremely excited to be continuing my educational adventure with Chapel Hill MS and look forward to meeting all of you and becoming a part of this amazing institution.
